Trusting God One Step at a Time

“The steps of the righteous are ordered by God.”
This truth reminds us that our lives are not random, nor are our journeys without purpose. God is intentional with every step we take—but the key is learning to trust Him through the process.

God’s process is often simpler than we expect, yet more challenging than we anticipate. He doesn’t overwhelm us with the full picture. Instead, He invites us to walk by faith, step by step. Trusting God means surrendering control and believing that He knows what lies ahead, even when we do not.

A powerful example of this is seen in Abram’s calling. God told Abram to leave his homeland and go to a place that He would show him. Notice that God didn’t give Abram the destination upfront. He simply gave him instructions to move. Abram had to trust God enough to take the first step without knowing the final outcome.

This is often how God works in our lives. He doesn’t reveal the next step until we take the one in front of us. Faith is activated through movement. Obedience unlocks clarity. Each step we take in trust leads us deeper into God’s purpose, moving us from faith to faith and from glory to glory.

If you’re feeling stuck or uncertain, it may not be because God is silent—it may be because He’s waiting on your obedience. Take the step He’s already placed before you. As you move, He will guide. As you trust, He will reveal.

Remember, the journey with God isn’t about seeing the entire staircase—it’s about
